Happy new year everyone ,
I hope you had a restful Christmas break and Father Christmas brought you something lovely.I’ve been really looking forward to reviewing 2021, simply because I haven’t had a moment to reflect on the craziness.
It was a year like no other, full of challenges , surprises, celebrations, love , laughter and tears too.Squeezing two years worth of weddings into 6 months was the biggest challenge, but we did it, my couples were amazing, so understanding and patient.
After so long with so much uncertainty it was great to get back to capturing people finally celebrating with family and friends, although things didn’t always go to plan. Here’s to all the venues and their staff, you were all amazing , a particular shout out to the fab team at Houchin’s , I pretty much lived there during the summer and as always you were wonderful.
Thank you to all the caterers for keeping me fed and watered , Jamie Lee Smith you guys in particular looked after me well, the best bbq around. Here’s to the make up ladies, florists, cake makers, bridal and hire shops, DJ’s, videographers, stationers and transport, thank you for loving what you do and adding that little finishing touch.
Here’s to the venues and all their staff and all the people behind the scenes that made it all possible. And here’s to you , for not giving up for smiling when things didn’t go to plan and rolling with the changes.
2021 has taught me many things , I will not forget. It taught me to be in the moment and enjoy it, suck it all up .To slow down, rushing around generally never helped anyone.People really are fab and understanding , as long as you keep then in the picture.Expect the unexpected and try and have a Plan B ! and in some cases a Plan C !Sleeping is key , if you can get some good ZZZZZ’s you can get through most things,…. ooo and make sure you set your alarm !!
2021 thank you for keeping it REAL Now 2022 lets do this , but can it please be a little less complicated !!!
Come on 2022 , let’s do this
Sxxx
