So from the beginning of May until the end of June I have been photographing families on their doorsteps, making the most of family moments and the best of being in lockdown. I has been a great way to keep my spirits high and it gave families a good excuse to put on some nice clothes, make up and dress up for the occasion . I also wanted to feel that I could do something to help all the hard working keyworkers who have been selfishly working to keep us safe and well and the country still going.
10% of sales have been donated to the Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity for the NHS Wellbeing Fund. http://colchesteripswichcharity.org.uk/cv19staffwellbeing/
Thank you to everyone who purchased their collections we have raised £140 for the Fund and this will go to help workers wellbeing and mental health. I would like to personally thank all keyworkers from all sectors for all their hard work and dedication.
I have met some lovely families whilst photographing them and heard some really interesting ways that people have been making the most of these strange times and coping with being stuck at home.

It’s been so enlightening to see how families have pulled together and really bonded in this time. Don’t get me wrong , I’m a mother of twin 9 year olds so I get that it’s not all been plain sailing ,… but these portraits will be remember for all sorts of reasons for years to come.

”We absolutely loved our doorstep shoot with you Sadie. So relaxed and patient with cheeky boys not listening. These are exactly the sort of pictures me and my family have been wanting for a while. It was fun and natural and we couldn’t be happier with our images. Thank you. X… Hollie R.

We had so much fun and Sadie took some amazing photos, so many to choose from.

I even got to photograph some little newborns along the way. One benefit from lockdown is that new Dad’s got to stay at home longer with their little ones.
So a BIG THANK YOU again to everyone of my doorsteppers and to the NHS.
