The greatest oak was once a little nut that held it’s ground,…….. Stuart & Emma’s Amazing Day

Jun 16, 2015

I knew from the off that Emma & Stuart’s wedding was going to be a bit special . I met Emma and her lovely mum at last years Seckford Wedding Fair in the spring I was running a portrait competition and Emma & Stuart’s proposal story captured my imagination and so they won the shoot. Stuart had proposed to Emma on Walderswick beach nearby to her great grandparents beach hut with a hand carved wooden engagement ring , how cool is that, good work Stuart!!! So for the shoot we went back to where he’s proposal and as they say the rest is history.

So this is where the bar was set , Emma & Stuart are not only incredibly hard working they are also very creative so you can marvel at the amazing details that they and their family created for the big day. All of the signs, table dec’s, favours , confetti, button holes, oak saplings , everything was handmade even the game pie was baked by Emma after they had plucked the pheasants to use the feathers for the men’s button holes, they even cut the confetti from silver birch bark.

The bridal party were so much fun with the pub crew boys really setting the mood for a fun filled day and Emma’s lovely bridemaids were really fab and very mischievous, bridesmaids in wellies posing with garden tools, sounds like trouble to me !

Emma had her dream transport to the church an amazing horse drawn carriage , she looked effortlessly beautiful in her elegant wedding dress and cool irregular choice shoe’s ( love them).

A fantastically seemless day ran into a party night , they even had their own festival bell tent on site to sleep in provided by a friend.

I stop talking and let the pictures do the talking.

One word WOW your day was WOW. x
