School can be a very challenging and daunting place, especially these days, education is a very different arena from when I went to school,
I will freely admit I wasn’t the most academic pupil and thank mother nature for my art teacher Mr Hill and the solitude of the art room as without him high school would have been a very different place.
On the last day of term I was asked to visit a wonderful school in Battersea , London to spend the day capturing this great school.
The Domine is an independent co-educational school which specialises in providing education for dyslexic and dyspraxic children. We welcome children from the age of 6 to 12.
We spend our most informative years at school so it is vital the environment is nurturing, supportive and understanding , it was clear from my short visit that The Dominie is all and more of these things, well done Anne O’Doherty, the head of the school.
I’m afraid I can’t show the pupils faces.
